The New Cloud Information Center is Live
GSA’s Cloud Information Center (CIC) is an interactive hub on the Acquisition Gateway that connects agencies with commercial cloud providers. It delivers timely, strategic resources around fundamental issues such as security, technical capabilities, and implementation.

You can access GSA’s Market Research as a Service tool and best practices, review acquisition guidance, download templates, and communicate with fellow decision-makers. Soon, industry partners will be able to share information on their cloud capabilities with agencies through the CIC’s communities-of-interest forums.

As the culmination of GSA’s analysis of the current position of the federal cloud market, the CIC is designed to serve as a comprehensive cloud resource for your agency – supporting IT modernization, the President’s Management Agenda, and OMB’s new Cloud Smart Strategy.

New Product Service Codes for Records Management
GSA has implemented system changes to incorporate new Product Service Codes (PSCs) for records management. These changes can be found in:
The new PSCs are:
  • PSC R616 – Physical Records Management Services
  • PSC R617 – Electronic Records Management Services

These PSCs align, respectively, with Special Item Numbers (SINs) 51 504 and 51 600, which were created to help federal agencies comply with records-management rules and satisfy the requirements of Universal Electronic Records Management (ERM). Customers can use GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 36 to access a full range of related services. For more information, visit GSA MAS 36’s Records Management Solutions page.
